One person named Abhijit Sinha was arrested with 22.580 kg of ganja.

Today at about 8 PM we managed to catch one person namely Abhijit Sinha (24) S/O- Lt. Gandhi Sinha Of Rajargaon, PO+PS- Pather Kandi, District- Karimganj, State- Assam. During his search we recovered two bags, one mobile phone and one Aadhaar card from his possession which containing total 22.580 Kg purported to be contraband Ganja. The value of this Ganja is Rs- 3.5 to 4 Lakh approx in black market. Accordingly we have arrested him from Agartala Railway station platform no-01 and seized the contraband Ganja and other articles. A specific case vide Agartala GRPS case no-2025GRP107, U/S-20(b)(ii)(C)/29 of NDPS Act-1985 has registered against him.
