The Tripura Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, continues to take significant steps toward strengthening and modernizing the state’s healthcare system. Today marked the beginning of a new chapter in healthcare excellence at AGMC and GBP Hospital in Agartala.

The Chief Minister said,

“Our commitment to ensuring advanced healthcare services at AGMC and GBP Hospital has led to a remarkable reduction in the number of patient referrals. Doctors in our state are now achieving new heights in treating complex medical cases — a matter of great pride.”

He further announced that the government has decided to introduce four new super-specialty services at the hospital, so that patients no longer need to travel outside the state for advanced treatment.

To enhance technology-driven healthcare management, Dr. Saha also virtually inaugurated the Inter-Departmental Call Management System (IDCMS) and laid the foundation stones for several new projects within the hospital premises.

The Chief Minister added,

“Our goal is to deliver affordable and advanced healthcare to people’s doorsteps. The government is fully committed to upgrading Tripura’s medical infrastructure to world-class standards.”

With these initiatives, the Tripura Government’s healthcare services have gained new momentum and direction, marking a progressive leap toward a healthier future for the state.
