On Tuesday Sipahijala District Superintendent of Police Vijay Devabarma led the ganja garden destruction operation in one day with five police stations of five police stations and a total of 500 soldiers of various forces created history by destroying more than 12 lakh cannabis plants! However, the police claim that such a large operation has never happened before in this Sipahijla district.

The operation was conducted from Tuesday morning to 2 pm under the leadership of the District Superintendent of Police. It has been learned that from Tuesday morning under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Vijay Debbarma of Sipahijala district, Vishalgarh police station, Vashanganj police station, Kalamchoura police station, Sonamura police station and Melaghar police station along with other policemen and additional TSR, central paramilitary forces, with a total force of about 500 people started an operation against the destruction of ganja trees in five police station areas.

However, cannabis growers have never seen such a large campaign before. In this regard, though this year the district police and the state police administration have taken a special initiative to destroy ganja plants and as part of that, the ganja growers found this huge police and TSR force in their ganja garden on Tuesday morning. This year, however, the police aim to make Sipahijala district a cannabis-free zone. On Tuesday morning, the people of the area were shocked to see this huge force, apart from the Gaza farmers. Everyone witnessed this day from a distance, this huge army got down from the car and proceeded on foot towards the high hillock, i.e. the ganja garden. At the end of the operation, Sipahijala District Superintendent of Police Vijay Debbarma met the journalists at around 2:30 on Tuesday and gave detailed information about this day's anti-cannabis operation.
