Bharat Vikas Parishad’s North-Eastern Regional Workers’ Conference begins.

From Saturday, the North-Eastern Regional Workers’ Conference of Bharat Vikas Parishad began at Bhagat Singh Yuva Awas in the state capital. The two-day conference was inaugurated in the presence of Suresh Jain, Central Organising Minister of Bharat Vikas Parishad; Dr. M. Pramjit Singh, Regional President; Justice S. C. Das, President of the Tripuri Prant of Bharat Vikas Parishad; Ramprasad Pal, Deputy Speaker of the State Legislative Assembly, along with other dignitaries.


Addressing the conference, Central Organising Minister Suresh Jain said that Bharat Vikas Parishad is a voluntary organisation working towards patriotism, national unity, and the overall development of India. He added that the organisation has been carrying out these activities across the country since 1963.


It is noteworthy that Bharat Vikas Parishad was founded in 1963 on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, with the objective of creating public awareness against Chinese aggression. The organisation primarily undertakes service and reform-oriented activities in various fields including education, healthcare, environment, culture, and social welfare.
