Week-long camp of Suchana NSS at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Class XII School in the capital on Tuesday. And this camp is introduced through a voluntary blood donation camp. About 30 blood donors came forward to donate blood voluntarily in this blood donation camp. The main objective of this day's camp is to motivate students to donate blood and others to come forward for this great program. It is said that every school has NSS unit to engage the students in patriotic and social activities along with studies and NSS unit of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial 12th standard school organizes such blood donation camp every year. The NSS unit provides hands-on education to the students in various subjects through this camp itself. State-based Open NSS Program Officer Malaya Laskar, School Principal Titu Saha, NSS Unit Program Officer Seema Chakma and others were present in this program.
