Body of a young man recovered from inside an auto-rickshaw...

Early on Saturday morning, a young man’s body was found inside an auto-rickshaw on the Paikhola–Balutila connecting road under Belonia Police Station, causing widespread shock in the area. The recovered auto-rickshaw bore the registration number TR 08 A 2655, and the deceased was later identified as Hejon Debnath.

Local passersby spotted the lifeless body inside the parked auto-rickshaw and immediately alerted the police. On receiving the information, Sub-Inspector Rahul Jamatia and his team reached the spot promptly, cordoned off the area, and began a preliminary investigation.

The body was subsequently recovered and sent to the hospital for post-mortem examination. Considering the seriousness of the case, a team of forensic experts also visited the site to assist in the investigation.

Police sources stated that the exact cause of death cannot be confirmed until the post-mortem report is received, but every aspect of the incident is being thoroughly examined. Authorities have assured that once the post-mortem and forensic reports are available, detailed information regarding the cause of death and the circumstances surrounding the case will be shared.
