Body of a youth recovered just a few yards away from the Sipahijala Superintendent of Police office

A youth’s body was recovered beside the national highway, just a few yards away from the Sipahijala Superintendent of Police office. The deceased has been identified as Maran Sarkar (44), son of late Sukumar Sarkar, a resident of Charilam Rajib Colony.
After receiving information from the Bishramganj Fire Service, police from Bishramganj Police Station rushed to the spot and informed the victim’s family and relatives. They later took the body to the Bishramganj Primary Health Centre.
The exact cause of death is not yet known. The reason will be ascertained after the post-mortem report is received.
