The Border Security Force (BSF) of India was established on 1 December 1965 to protect the vast borders of the nation. Having completed sixty years, the force has now entered its 61st year. This year, BSF personnel across the country are celebrating the Platinum Jubilee Year.

On the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations, a bike rally was organized on Wednesday. The rally started from Salbagan in Agartala, passed through various routes, and concluded at Gokulnagar.

A BSF official stated that the purpose of organizing the bike rally was to create awareness among the people of the state about the BSF and to encourage the large number of young men and women in the state to join the BSF and other security forces in service of the nation. He urged the youth of the state to contribute to the country's development by serving the nation.

The bike rally concluded at Gokulnagar, and after a brief program, the rally returned to Salbagan along the same route.
