Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday held a review meeting with Union DoNER Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia regarding the Matabari Tourism Circuit. The circuit has been conceptualized as a 4-night, 5-day travel route, which will include Agartala – Neermahal – Sepahijala – Udaipur – Chabimura – Dumbur.

This circuit aims to showcase Tripura’s diverse natural beauty, cultural heritage, and spiritual significance. During the meeting, the Union Minister expressed a positive response to the proposal and assured financial support for various developmental components of the circuit.

The Matabari Tourism Circuit has been planned to bring about major improvements in tourism infrastructure, create local employment opportunities, and establish Tripura as a comprehensive tourism hub in the North Eastern region.
