“Clothing distributed among the underprivileged in Municipal Corporation Ward No. 14.”

On the occasion of the fourth anniversary of the Municipal Corporation, various programmes have been undertaken across different wards of the city. These include blood donation camps as well as several social welfare activities. On Tuesday, a clothing distribution programme for the underprivileged was organized on the initiative of Ward No. 14 Corporator Snigdha Das Deb.

The programme was attended by Mayor of the Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder, along with other public representatives and distinguished personalities. The Mayor stated that such social welfare initiatives, taken up to mark the fourth anniversary of the Municipal Corporation, are an important step towards standing by the common people. He assured that in the coming days, the Municipal Corporation will continue to undertake various developmental and social programmes.
