“Distribution of various materials to beneficiaries at Sajal Chowmuhani under the initiative of Kalamkhet Gram Panchayat, Mohanbhog RD Block...”

Under the initiative of the state government, plans are being taken to distribute various benefits and materials directly into the hands of beneficiaries at the panchayat level. As part of this effort, a distribution programme was held today at Sajal Chowmuhani, organized by the Kalamkhet Gram Panchayat under the Mohanbhog RD Block, where different items were handed over to beneficiaries.

Present at the programme were former Union Minister Pratima Bhowmik, Dhanpur MLA Bindu Debnath, Kalamkhet Gram Panchayat Pradhan Iman Hossain, Mohanbhog RD Block Chairman Srinibas Bhowmik, Vice Chairman Jitendra Das, VSC Chairman Basulya Noatia, along with noted social workers Dipankar Das, Dulal Mia, Musalem Mia, Booth President Yusuf Nabi, several administrative officials, and others.

During the programme, sports equipment was distributed among youths, cheques were handed over to flood-affected people, and dustbins, Sintex items, and other materials were also distributed to beneficiaries.

While addressing the gathering, former Union Minister Pratima Bhowmik said that these materials are being placed before the people and urged them to spread awareness about these benefits in the coming days. She also called upon everyone—from the panchayat pradhan and upa-pradhan to all members—to cooperate in this initiative.

On the occasion, the large turnout of beneficiaries and local residents was noteworthy. It was expressed that the developmental works undertaken by this panchayat would be viewed positively by the people in the days to come.
