Government’s Core Goal is the Upliftment of Every Individual in Society — Tourism Department Takes Another Step Toward Fulfilling PM Modi’s “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” Vision

In keeping with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s motto of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas”, the Tripura Tourism Department has taken another step toward inclusive development. On Monday, at a program held in West Majlishpur Gram Panchayat, Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury personally handed over a total of 595 assistive devices to 114 differently-abled beneficiaries.

The program, with a total expenditure of around ₹50 lakh, was implemented by the Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) — an organization under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said, “Our government is committed to the development of every section of society. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are moving towards building an India where no one is left behind.”

The initiative was organized under the Assistance to Disabled Persons (ADIP) Scheme, aimed at improving the daily lives of persons with disabilities and empowering them to become self-reliant.

Local public representatives, administrative officials, and members of the Gram Panchayat were also present at the event. The beneficiaries, after receiving the assistive devices from the minister, expressed joy and gratitude, saying that this initiative has brought new hope into their lives.
