NCC Fest is not just a festival — it is a spiritual essence or spirit of discipline, unity, and harmony. The NCC initiatives in the state have been particularly successful. Chief Minister said this on Thursday at the two-day NCC Fest 2025 held at TIT in Narsingarh. The Chief Minister inaugurated the NCC Fest on this day. Present with him were Education Department Special Secretary Lovel Hemendrakumar, NCC Deputy Director General (North Eastern Region) Brigadier K.J. Singh, NCC Group Commander Brigadier Anand Raj Singh, and others.
The Chief Minister was given a Guard of Honour by the 13 Tripura Battalion NCC. Later, he and the other dignitaries lit the ceremonial lamp to formally open the event. In his address, the Chief Minister said that India’s NCC is the world’s largest uniformed youth organization. It began its journey on July 5, 1948. Claiming that NCC’s training initiatives in the state are highly successful, the Chief Minister said that although the primary focus is drill and basic weapons training, the NCC in Tripura acts as a bridge between uniformed services and civil society through its flowing tradition.
He further added that NCC in the state helps inspire the youth towards discipline and national service.
NCC cadets from various educational institutions across the state are participating in this two-day state-level NCC Fest. Over the two days, they will receive training on various subjects.
