At Durganagar Hirak area of Khowai, police successfully arrested Partha Dey — the kingpin of Khowai’s illegal drug network — from the rented house of Sujit Das. He was caught with illegal Yaba tablets and SP tablets.

Surprisingly, this drug dealer from Khowai had been arrested by the police a few days ago and sent to jail. Yet, after being released, he once again revived his illegal drug business from his home. By selling illegal intoxicants to the innocent youth of Khowai, Partha Dey has rapidly accumulated wealth, while on the other hand, drug dealers like him are destroying society.

From various responsible sections of the community, calls are rising to socially boycott drug dealers like Partha Dey.
