Rahul Gandhi offers floral tribute on the 78th death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at his memorial at Tees January Marg in New Delhi on Friday. The homage was paid in remembrance of the 78th death anniversary of the Father of the Nation.


In a post on his social media account the same day, Rahul Gandhi said, “The legacy of truth, courage, and compassion left behind by Mahatma Gandhi continues to guide us even today and reminds us of the India we must constantly strive for—an India that is just, harmonious, and united.”


On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, various programmes were organized across the country to remember Mahatma Gandhi. From political leaders to ordinary citizens, people paid tribute to Gandhiji’s supreme sacrifice, drawing inspiration from his ideals.
