“Sonamura Police arrested a woman drug dealer on charges of involvement in drug trafficking.”

during a raid at her house, the police recovered a total of 5.985 kg of dried cannabis. Along with the narcotics, they also seized a Maruti Eco car (registration number TR 07 0413), which was being used to transport the illegal cannabis from Sonamura to various places. The vehicle was seized from her residence.

A case under the NDPS Act was registered against her at Sonamura Police Station early this morning. She will be produced before the Hon’ble Court today.

The arrested woman drug dealer has been identified as Poppy Akhtar, age 23, a resident of Matinagar, Purba Tilai, under Sonamura Police Station. During interrogation, she provided names and addresses of others involved in the drug trade in the area. Police will verify the details and arrest them based on evidence.
