As per a notification issued by the state government, the STGT examination was conducted by TRBT on September 11, 2022. However, even though nearly four years have passed since the examination was held, the authorities have yet to publish the results. Demanding immediate publication of the results, STGT examinees have visited the Education Bhavan multiple times and met with TRBT officials. However, they have not received any satisfactory response so far.

On Monday, the examinees once again came to the Education Bhavan and staged a protest demanding the prompt release of the examination results. One of the examinees said that almost four years have passed, yet the authorities have not published the results. He demanded that the authorities immediately declare the results and that the state government complete the recruitment process based on those results. He added that this was the very reason they had come there that day.

The examinee further stated that without publishing the results of the 2022 examination, the authorities have issued a fresh notification to conduct another examination. They have no objection to a new examination being held, but their results must be published immediately.

It is noteworthy that the TRBT authorities have never before issued a notification for another examination without completing the process of the previous one. This has created serious doubts and concerns among the examinees. Reacting to a related legal case, the examinees said that while the case may continue in the Supreme Court and the government may provide jobs, there is no reason for the TRBT authorities to withhold the publication of the results.

On the day, as they could not meet the Chairman of TRBT, the examinees met the Controller of Examinations, Shashank Ghosh, and placed their demands before him.
