The 12th State Conference of the Tripura Khet Majur Union will be held on 6 and 7 December. This year, the conference has been organized at the Sonamura Town Hall. On 6 December, the conference will be inaugurated by the All India General Secretary of the organization, B. Venkata.
Tripura Khet Majur Union State Secretary Shyamal De gave this information during a press conference on Tuesday. He further stated that, ahead of the 12th State Conference, 830 primary units, 196 area committees, 24 divisional committees, and 8 district committees have already completed their respective conferences.
A total of 318 delegates from different parts of the state will participate in the State Conference, among whom 38 will be women delegates. The conference will begin on 6 December in Sonamura with a public rally. The public rally will be addressed by All India President A. Vijayaraghavan, former Chief Minister of Tripura Manik Sarkar, CPI(M) State Secretary and Polit Bureau member Jitendra Choudhury, among others.
The State Secretary also mentioned that the conference will determine the future strategies and action plans.
All India Vice-President of the organization, Bhanu Lal Saha, also spoke at the press conference. He informed that the conference venue has been named Sitaram Yechury Nagar. Preparations and publicity are underway to make the event a success. As part of the conference, seven seminars will be organized. The State President of the organization, Radhaballabh Debnath, also addressed the press.
