The Chief Minister was flooded with birthday wishes....

The Chief Minister of the state, Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha, stepped into his 72nd year today. On the occasion of his birthday, the Chief Minister was felicitated by the 8 Town Bardowali Mandal of his Assembly constituency. The event was attended by the president of the 8 Town Bardowali Mandal along with party workers and supporters.


On Thursday morning, as part of his birthday celebrations, the Chief Minister offered special prayers at the Kali Bari in Mela Maidan. There, he was showered with warm greetings. Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor and MLA Dipak Majumder congratulated the Chief Minister by presenting him with a floral bouquet. Similarly, other party leaders and a large number of workers and supporters also extended their birthday wishes.


Speaking to the media on the occasion of his birthday, the Chief Minister said that birthdays are important to everyone, but unlike leaders of other political parties, they do not celebrate birthdays in an ostentatious manner. He said they observe the day while upholding culture and tradition. The Chief Minister added that, like on any other day, he prayed to God for the well-being of the people of the state, party workers, supporters, and leaders, and wished everyone good health.


The Chief Minister further stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged everyone to move forward together, and that they are progressing under the Prime Minister’s guidance. He emphasized that the farther they stay away from division, the more united they will remain.


On the same day, many leaders also extended birthday greetings to Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha on social media, wishing him good health and a long life.
