Later, coming out of the hospital and speaking to journalists, the Chief Minister said that Rajib Bhattacharjee had been experiencing chest pain for a few days. Today, he was admitted to ILS Hospital, where various tests are being conducted. An angiogram will be done, and further steps will be taken based on the report. The Chief Minister further stated that if any block is detected, a stent will be inserted, and if necessary, he will be taken outside the state for advanced treatment.

After learning about Rajib Bhattacharjee’s illness, BJP leaders, workers, and supporters rushed to ILS Hospital. To avoid unnecessary crowding in the hospital premises, the Chief Minister instructed party workers and supporters not to gather unnecessarily.
