On Thursday, marking the 100th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the founder president of the Bharatiya Janata Party and former Prime Minister, the state BJP’s mouthpiece “Vikas Path” resumed its publication with renewed vigor from this auspicious day.

For a long time, the publication had been closely associated with the party’s trusted leader Sajal Acharya. However, its publication had remained suspended for some time. Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha advised Sajal Acharya to revive the publication. Inspired by the Chief Minister’s encouragement, Sajal Acharya once again took responsibility for printing and publishing “Vikas Path.”

On Thursday, during the programme organized to observe Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s 100th birth anniversary, arrangements were made to reintroduce and circulate the mouthpiece. Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha formally inaugurated the revived publication. On the occasion, he paid floral tributes to the portrait of Atal Bihari Vajpayee at the state BJP office.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that “Vikas Path” is a valuable source of information, through which one can learn a great deal about the Bharatiya Janata Party. He added that the publication is sent not only to central leaders in Delhi but also reaches grassroots-level party workers and leaders. The Chief Minister congratulated Sajal Acharya for taking the initiative to revive the long-discontinued mouthpiece.

On the same day, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha also participated in various programmes organized across the state to commemorate the 100th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
