Two arrested in Kailashahar with narcotics worth ₹6 lakh.

Major police operation on Kailashahar road.During a checking drive in the Bhagabannagar area, Kailashahar police seized a large quantity of foreign liquor after intercepting a Bolero vehicle. The registration number of the seized Bolero is TR-02-K-1743.

According to the Officer-in-Charge of Kailashahar Police Station, the vehicle was stopped and searched in the Bhagabannagar area while it was on its way from Dharmanagar to Dolugaon via Kailashahar. During the search, 3,060 bottles of foreign liquor were recovered. The estimated market value of the seized liquor is around ₹6 lakh.

The incident has created widespread sensation in the area. During the operation, the driver Nantu De and his associate Priyotosh De were detained. Both are residents of the Dolugaon area under Kailashahar. A case has been registered against the accused, and an investigation into the entire incident has begun. The arrested persons will be produced before the court tomorrow.
