Two bikes and one scooty recovered; bike thief arrested.

Recently, the bike of Shribas Chandra De of Subhash Nagar, Pratapgarh, was stolen from the area adjacent to Bordowali School in the capital. He reported the theft to the AD Nagar Police Station. After receiving the complaint, the police of AD Nagar Police Station initiated an investigation.
During the investigation, the police recovered a bike without a number plate. After verifying the chassis number, it was confirmed that the bike belonged to Shribas Chandra De of Subhash Nagar, Pratapgarh, and was the stolen vehicle. In connection with the incident, the police arrested a bike thief. During interrogation, the police recovered another bike and a scooty from different locations. This information was shared on Saturday by AD Nagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Sushanta Deb. He said that the arrested bike thief would be produced in court on Saturday itself after seeking police remand.

Meanwhile, upon receiving the news of the recovery of the stolen vehicles, the owners arrived at AD Nagar Police Station on Saturday. The bikes and scooty had been stolen from various areas of the capital between 25 December and 31 December. The owners expressed satisfaction with the role played by the AD Nagar Police in recovering the stolen vehicles.
