Unity march in 10 crores - the message of a self-reliant, transparent and drug-free India

A district-level unity march on the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's 150th birth anniversary began at 7 am on Tuesday from Unkoti Kalakshetra premises in Kailash. Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India and Mai Bharat Kendra Unkoti district administration organized this program attended by prominent persons of the district. Minister Tinku Roy inaugurated the march. Rajiv Sabha MP Rajiv Bhattacharya was present as the chief guest. Apart from this, Unkoti District District Magistrate Tamal Majumdar (IAS), District President Amlendu Das and Pur Parishad Chairperson Chapla Deb Roy among others.

Many students, youth societies and members of various organizations participated in this journey organized to spread the message of unity and national solidarity. While speaking, Minister Tinku Roy said that this nation-wide Ekta Yatra was organized to convey the ideals of Sardar Patel to the new generation. He said that the main goal of the journey is to build self-reliant India, Swachh Bharat and drug-free society. This program is ongoing in every district of the state and the journey will end on November 24. At the same time, two representatives from each district will walk about 100 km to the birthplace of Sardar Patel in the All India Ekta Yatra.
