Just like in 2024, the Health Department has once again ignored rules and regulations in conducting the recruitment examination for vacant posts in 2025, alleged the Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress.

Earlier, the Youth Congress had submitted a deputation to the Director of Health Services, urging that the recruitment process follow proper procedures. However, the department reportedly rejected their demand and proceeded with what the organization called an “unlawful recruitment process” to fill 85 vacant posts.

In response, on Monday, a delegation of the Tripura Pradesh Youth Congress, led by its president Neel Kamal Saha, submitted another deputation to the Director of Health Services, demanding that the irregular recruitment test be cancelled and a fresh examination conducted in accordance with official norms.

Youth Congress president Neel Kamal Saha said,

“We had earlier expressed concern that the Health Department would not follow proper rules in filling the 85 vacant posts. On October 17, we submitted a deputation about this very issue. Unfortunately, our fears have come true — the recruitment test violated the government’s own guidelines.”

He further warned that if the demand for cancellation and re-examination is not met, the Youth Congress will launch a larger statewide movement on the issue.
