At the initiative of the Simna Mandal of the BJP under the Simna Assembly Constituency, a large joining ceremony was held at BaraKathal Market. Present on the stage that day was the Chief Minister of the state, Professor Dr. Manik Saha. Under his leadership, 312 voters from 107 families, who left various political parties, took up the BJP flag. On behalf of the party, the new members were welcomed by the Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha, the Minister of Tribal Welfare Bikas Debbarma, and other BJP leaders by handing over the party flag.
The venue was packed with an overflowing crowd. Besides the Chief Minister, Tribal Welfare Minister Bikas Debbarma, BJP State General Secretary Bipin Debbarma, and other top leaders of the state were also present. While addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Manik Saha said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has undertaken one project after another for the development of tribal communities. Under his leadership, people at the grassroots level are now experiencing real development. That is why people are leaving various parties and placing their trust in the BJP.”
He alleged that “certain groups were active” in trying to undermine the joining ceremony, but the enthusiasm and turnout of supporters did not waver for even a moment. The Chief Minister further said, “It is not desirable to practice politics by instilling fear and intimidation. People are choosing development, not disruption.”
According to political observers, this joining ceremony at BaraKathal Market will undoubtedly further strengthen the BJP’s organization in the Simna region.
