On behalf of the Amra Bangali party, a seven-point public-interest demand memorandum was submitted to the Chief Minister of Tripura through the District Magistrate of Dhalai. The Amra Bangali Dhalai District Committee urged the government to fulfill these public-interest demands at the earliest.

Party representatives stated that following the 24-hour Tripura bandh called by the so-called civil society on October 23, there was a brutal attack on local traders and administrative officials at Shantirbazar in Dhalai district. They demanded that all those involved in the incident be identified and given exemplary punishment.

They also demanded that:

  1. The state government bear the full medical expenses of those physically assaulted during the Shantirbazar violence.

  2. The shop owners whose establishments were vandalized or looted during the bandh be compensated — with ₹40 lakh each for severely affected owners and ₹10 lakh each for those with lesser damages, based on the findings of an official investigation.

  3. To ensure the safety of residents in and around Shantirbazar, a permanent police outpost or TSR camp should be established in the marketplace area.

These formed part of the seven-point charter of demands placed before the government by Amra Bangali.
