All Tripura Unorganized Workers' Congress held a demonstration in front of the Pradesh Congress Building on three-point demands. Besides, on this day, a memorandum was given to the mission director of the National Health Mission on behalf of the organization. Tripura Unorganized Workers Congress Chairman Shantanu Pal, Sadar District Congress President Tanmoy Saha,
Congress Spokesperson Praveer Chakraborty and others were present at the rally. They claim that the DDT workers working under the State Health Department get only 5 months of work in a year, making it impossible for them to support their families and lead a normal life. Moreover, REGA workers of the state are also being cheated day by day, where they were supposed to increase their daily wage and give them minimum 200 days of work in a year, the current government is not even close to it.

As a result, the raga workers of the state are forced to live with severe financial shortages, famines and strife. Besides, the mid-day meal and Asha workers of the state have not been regularized so far. It was promised that with the change of government in the state, if the BJP government is formed, the irregular employees of all levels of the state will be regularized. They demanded the fulfillment of these three-point demands and if they are not fulfilled, the organization warned them to go for a larger movement in the future.
