During an election campaign in Bihar, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking at a public rally in Champatiya on Wednesday, she said,
“This is Modi ji’s empire — where ordinary people receive no help, and farmers’ loans are never waived. But loans worth crores of rupees belonging to big industrialists like Ambani and Adani are written off. This is Modi’s rule, where Bihar’s once-strong education system has completely collapsed. He makes grand speeches, but there’s nothing real to show for them.”
Taking a dig at both Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Prime Minister Modi, Priyanka added,
“No one takes Nitish ji seriously anymore. Modi ji is now more worried about whose picture is bigger on the posters — Rahul Gandhi’s or Tejashwi Yadav’s! He is the Prime Minister of the country, yet he doesn’t even invite the state’s Chief Minister to share the stage. Instead of solving people’s problems, he wastes time looking at other parties’ posters.”
Priyanka’s remarks make it clear that the Congress has intensified its campaign against the BJP-JD(U) alliance in Bihar. According to local leaders, her speech has injected fresh energy into the Congress’s election drive.
