“National Youth Day Celebrated at Congress Bhavan.”

The Pradesh Congress celebrated the 164th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. On this occasion, leaders present at the Congress Bhavan paid floral tributes to Swamiji’s portrait and offered their respects.

Among those present were All India Mahila Congress General Secretary L. H. Shingnai Sui Kim, Pradesh Congress spokesperson Prabir Chakraborty, State Mahila Congress President Sarbani Ghosh Chakraborty, Pradesh Youth Congress President Neel Kamal Saha, along with other leaders.

Speaking on the occasion of National Youth Day and Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, Pradesh Youth Congress President Neel Kamal Saha said that, like every year, the day was observed this year as well with due respect. He stated that Swami Vivekananda inspired the youth of enslaved India to actively participate in the freedom struggle.

Expressing resentment over the recent situation in the state, the Youth Congress President said that Swamiji wanted the youth of the country to move forward on the right path, but today, under the BJP government, the exact opposite trend is being witnessed.
