president Nitish Kumar has been elected today as the leader of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Legislature Party in Bihar. The decision was taken at a joint meeting of newly elected MLAs from the five alliance parties in Patna.

In the recently concluded Bihar Assembly elections, the NDA secured a massive victory, winning 202 seats in the 243-member Assembly and returning to power. Earlier in the day, BJP leader Samrat Choudhary was elected as the leader of the party’s legislative wing, while Vijay Sinha was chosen as the deputy leader.

JDU leader Nitish Kumar will take oath tomorrow as the Chief Minister of Bihar for the tenth time. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at the historic Gandhi Maidan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and many other eminent personalities are expected to attend the ceremony.
