At a press conference held at the BJP state headquarters on Saturday regarding the state's current political atmosphere, law and order situation, and recent government decisions, the party’s top leaders delivered a clear message. Present at the briefing were State Vice Presidents Tapas Bhattacharjee and Subal Bhowmik, General Secretary Bipin Debbarma, and State Media In-Charge Sunit Sarkar.
Subal Bhowmik informed that State President and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee is recovering well. “With the blessings of Mata Tripureshwari and the good wishes of the people, the President is doing much better,” he said.
Praising the recent cabinet decisions, he added, “Historic steps have been taken in the interest of the unemployed youth of the state. The decision to set up two new universities is undoubtedly timely and a guiding step for the future.”
Highlighting the BJP’s continued political successes, Subal Bhowmik referred to the NDA’s victory in the Bihar Assembly elections. He thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and JP Nadda, saying, “From Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas to Viksit Bharat, the country is moving ahead under the Prime Minister’s leadership.”
Addressing certain recent unpleasant incidents, he explained, “Developmental work in tribal areas is progressing rapidly. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha is fully committed to the welfare of tribal communities. However, some groups are engaging in conspiracies to tarnish the image of the government.”
He pointed out that several horrific incidents—including the killings of SDMs and MLAs—occurred during the Left regime. “Under the present government, no major unrest has taken place. Even though a few isolated incidents occurred, the government has taken a firm stand,” he said.
In a clear and firm statement, Subal Bhowmik asserted, “The BJP does not tolerate wrongdoing. Whoever the culprit may be, action will be taken as per the law. The government remains steadfast on the path of development and stability.”
