“The State Human Rights Commission will observe International Human Rights Day.”

The upcoming 10th of December is International Human Rights Day. Along with the rest of the world, the day will be duly observed in the state as well. On this occasion, the Tripura Human Rights Commission has organized a seminar. The workshop will be held at Pragya Bhavan in Agartala. The Chief Minister of the state, Professor Dr. Manik Saha, will be present as the inaugurator and chief guest of the event. Director General of Police Anurag Dhankhar will attend as a special guest. This was announced by Tripura Human Rights Commission Secretary Dhanbabu Riang during a press conference held at the Commission’s office on Monday.


Secretary Dhanbabu Riang further stated that apart from the Chief Minister and the Director General of Police, the state’s Advocate General Shaktimoy Chakraborty, State Women’s Commission Chairperson Jharna Debbarma, Law Secretary Shankari Das, and other dignitaries will also be present at Wednesday’s workshop.
