Tripura achieves remarkable success at the 31st National Thang-Ta Championship — 13 participants from the state win medals in Goa.

At the 31st National Sub-Junior and Senior Thang-Ta Martial Arts Championship, held at the Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium in Goa from October 28 to 30, 2025, players from Tripura delivered an outstanding performance, bringing glory to the state.

During the three-day event, which featured participants from across the country, the Tripura team showcased remarkable skill, discipline, and mental strength. A total of 13 players from Tripura won medals — 3 gold, 4 silver, and 6 bronze — marking a proud achievement for the state.

  1. Avantika Choudhury – Sub-Junior Girls, -33 kg, Style 2

  2. Sambhavi Roy – Sub-Junior Girls, -45 kg, Style 2

  3. Mansi Rajkumari – Senior Girls, -68 kg, Style 2

🥈 Silver Medal Winners:

  1. Debashmi Debnath – Senior Girls, -53 kg, Style 2

  2. Debashmita Chakraborty – Senior Girls, -49 kg, Style 2

  3. Ayan Ghosh – Sub-Junior Boys, -37 kg, Style 1

  4. Dhiman Bhowmik – Senior Thanglon category

🥉 Bronze Medal Winners:

  1. Saanvi Nath – Sub-Junior Girls, -41 kg, Style 1

  2. Rahul Kumar Kalwar – Sub-Junior Boys, -49 kg, Style 1

  3. Pratik Dey – Sub-Junior Boys, -33 kg, Style 1

  4. Sushmita Nath – Senior Girls, -60 kg, Style 1

This glorious achievement has sparked new enthusiasm in Tripura’s sports fraternity.
